T&T Canada Cup July 14-17

This year Canada Cup takes place at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Last year's edition was held in Okotokes Alberta and Shasta had some impressive results including:

Our Shasta team at Canada Cup 2010 is; Ben Blais, Liam Doherty, Cameron Quinlan, Tyler Edwards, Connor Doherty, Jordan Wilmshurst, Curt DeWolff, Shannon Comeault, Poppy Quinlan, Olivia Bortolazzo, Chelsea Nerpio, and Anita Cirillo. Our athletes will be coached by Val Johnson.

This year's competition will also feature international athletes. According to Acrobatic Sports the following international athletes will be competing. (As of now I have not been able to confirm this through other sources.)

World Champion Dong Dong (CHN), Olympic silver medalist Jason Burnett (CAN), Tu Xiao (CHN), former World medalist Tetsuya Sotomura (JPN), Manabu Yamaguchi (JPN), Karsten Kuritz (GER), Dennis Luxon (GER), James Higgins (GBR), Steven Williams (GBR), and Charles Thibault (CAN). On the women's side; 3-time Olympic medalist and former World Champion Karen Cockburn (CAN), 2007 World medalist Rosannagh MacLennan (CAN), Zhong Xingping (CHN), Li Dan (CHN), Katherine Driscoll (GBR), Laura Gallagher (GBR) and Claudia Prat (ESP).
