Congratulations Kyle!

World Age Groups

We would like to extend to Duncan Blais, Ben Blais, and Kyle Carragher the best of luck at the Trampoline and Tumbling World Age Group Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida. The competition runs November 13th to 16th.

GBC Awards

Saturday evening was the Gymnastics BC Awards and Scholarship Reception. Congratulations go to retired Shasta Athlete Cameron Quinlan and current athlete Tyler Edwards who both won Gymnastics BC Scholarships. Congratulations also go to Kyle Carragher who won the Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year. This award recognizes the highest ranked espoir, junior or senior level male trampoline gymnastics athlete who is training in and competing for B.C.

Thanksgiving Weekend Training Reminders

Just a reminder! Shasta athletes

There is no regular training on Friday, October 10, Saturday, October 11 or Monday, October 13.

There IS training for WAGs athletes on Thursday, October 9th from 3:45-6:15.

There IS training for WAGs athletes and Canada Games athletes on Monday, October 13th  from 7:00-9:00 pm.

Canada Cup Club Results

Congratulations to our athletes that competed at Canada Cup. Kyle Carrager led our team with 3 medals: A gold in Junior DMT, a silver in Junior Trampoline, and a bronze in Senior Synchro Trampoline with Ben Blais.
Jane Harrigan also came home with a Gold medal in Women's National DMT.

Pacific Rim 2014 Championships

Congratulations to Shasta's own Ben Blais who compete this past week at the 2014 Pacific Rim Championships.

Ben was one of two Junior Men chosen to represent Canada. Ben kicked off his competition by winning, with synchronized trampoline partner Keevin Madigan, the Bronze medal in Men's Junior Synchro Trampoline. Next Ben qualified for the fresh start final by placing in the top 8 in the qualification round. Ben, along with Burnett, Soehn, and Madigan, the Canadian Men won the Silver in Trampoline Men Team Final. In the Men's final Ben placed 6th overall.

Canada Cup 2014

Gymnastics Canada has announced that the 2014 Trampoline Canada Cup will be hosted in New Market, ON at the Ray Twinney Recreational Centre from July 24 - July 27.
